Stromsholm Type EL Road Studs are very short, low-profile horse studs designed specifically for use on hard ground, tarmac and roads. Featuring a 3/8" thread, they provide essential grip of activities like hacking, hunting and road work without the aggressive height that causes joint jarring. They are commonly used on the inside heel of front shoes or on all four feet when working on hard surfaces.
