The Lorina Cambridge Mouth Kimblewick is a classical, single-rein leverage bit engineered to provide discrete control for strong horses and ponies. Often favoured for children or riders who prefer managing just one pair of reins, it serves as a milder, more compact alternative to a standard Pelham. It pairs traditional D-shaped Kimblewick cheeks with an unjointed "Cambridge" mouthpiece—featuring a low central port—and an accompanying double-link stainless steel curb chain to deliver balanced brakes without structural bulk.

- Mouthpiece Design and Material: Solid, unjointed bar with a low, supportive tongue port (Cambridge mouth) in high-grade, high-polish solid stainless steel (tasteless, rust-resistant, and highly durable).

How it Works:
- Tongue Relief Port: The defining feature of the Cambridge mouth is its central arch. This curves over the middle of the horse's tongue, relieving direct pinching or clamping pressure. Instead, the bit evenly transfers initial hand aids across the less sensitive bars of the lower jaw.
- No Nutcracker Effect: Because the mouthpiece is completely unjointed, it cannot collapse or fold upward in a "V" shape. This keeps the bit flat and stable, entirely preventing painful pinching of the lips or the roof of the horse's mouth.
- Single-Rein Mechanical Control: The compact D-ring shanks allow the rider to achieve leverage using only one pair of reins.
