How to Use It Safely
Dilution: Mix at least 50:50 with warm water before use. Never use it at full strength (neat) as it can cause severe skin irritation or chemical burns. External Use Only, avoid getting into the horses eyes, nose or mouth.
Common Equine Uses
Mud Fever: Highly effective at softening scabs and killing the bacteria responsible for mud fever (pastern dermatitis) on the lower legs.
Wound Cleaning: Diluted Hibiwash can be used to gently clean dirt from around minor cuts and abrasions.
Skin Infections: Used to treat general dermatophyte fungi, yeasts, and bacterial skin crusts.
