Barrier Livestock Louse Powder is a 100% natural insect repellent used to protect animals against blood sucking and biting lice. Formulated with concentrated plant derivatives like Eucalyptus Citrodora oil, tea tree oil, and lavandin oil, it provides up to six weeks of weather-dependent residual protection with a single application. Because it uses an organic maize powder base rather than chemical carrier agents, it is fully HSE-approved and perfectly safe for use in organic farming systems. Does not contain permethrin.
Suitability: Ideal for horses, cattle, goats, rabbits, poultry and young stock over two weeks of age. Not effective treatment for pigs or other hairless animals.
Application:
- Apply Directly: Shake the powder liberally across the animal's entire body.
- Target Key Areas: Pay close attention to the neck, backbone, lower legs, under the elbows and base of the tail.
- Brush in: Work the powder deeply into the coat using a soft brush.
- Environment: Treat all bedding, nesting boxes, and housing facilities simultaneously to halt the infestation cycle.
- Safety: Keep the powder clear of the animal's eyes, nose, mouth and any open wounds.
